Beauty And The Beast

My niece Emily was in the play Beauty And The Beast. All the kids did a great job. The set was beautiful and you can see a lot of work went into it. The costumes were great too.

Emily played on of the villagers.

Here are more of the villagers.

Frisbee Fun

I got a few shots of things other then the family playing Frisbee first. Lacey laying under the lilac bush. She is such a beautiful dog.....when she's not full of mud!
Dragonflies on the lilac bush. I couldn't believe how long it stay for me. The wind was blowing which made it alittle hard to get the shot.
This one was just hanging out too.
A small type of bee on the lilac bush.
The whole family was playing Frisbee but I was unable to get shots of everyone. Here we have Lacey and Nate. Lacey looks like she is running into a invisible wall.
I had to laugh at all the pictures I took of my son Josh. He is the one in the Angry Bird pants. The pants weren't the reason I kept laughing. It was because of all the face expressions he would make while playing.

We all had so much fun. Who know we would all get such a kick out of playing Frisbee!!

Bathroom Makeover

Before and After of my bathroom makeover. I worked on it last week everyday after work, and all day Saturday.

Before and After of my bathroom makeover. I worked on it all last week after I got home from work. Then worked on it all day Saturday.

For some reason I can't delete the high lighted line above this one. Sorry. This is kind of the reason I haven't blogged in so long. It takes for ever to post a picture and then when you want to write about it you can do it the way you want to! ugggg.... Anywho.... I'm very happy with the way my makeover came out for my bathroom! It's a whole new space!

Dresser and Family

I couldn't wait to share the dresser all done.

I also wanted to a little bit of my family. I never have pictures of us 3 kids all together. Left to right, Glen, Tony, then me.  This was from Easter.
The little guy is Nate, Glen's son.
Tony plays the organ for the church. Tony's Wife is the Pastor of the church.

Here is my best friend and husband John.
This wasn't much blogging but I just wanted to share!

Fun Projects

My gosh, I have been sooooo busy working at my day job (furniture refinishing), then on my own furniture and jewelry at home. I love what I do but somedays I really should take a break but it so hard when I have so many things running through my head and want to see the project done. Now that the weather is getting warmer I will be out in my flower gardens!!

Here are the projects I did this weekend.

A cheese box that has been sitting in my basement for a few months.

I used a white wax and I love the way it came out. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

This is a little table with draw....oh you can see the draw because it covered with stickers. Someone was sticker happy!

I stripped the table, knocked it apart, sanded, then glued it.

I didn't do this one is the white wax. This is two coats of white paint then scuffed and waxed with a light brown wax. It looks really white with the flash of the camera. I was thinking about keeping this one but it didn't fit where I really wanted it so for sale it goes.

I got this dresser at a yardsale Easter weekend.

I sanded it all down and glued the draws.

I'm doing the dresser in black lightly scuffed. I was able to finish the draws only before running out of dark wax. So tonight I'm going to get it done. I can't wait to see it done. This one will be for sale!!

Thank you for checking out my work.

Primitive Furniture

This is a end table of some kind I think. I have never seen one like it before. My husband found it at a store and brought it home for me to redo!
I did my magic and painted it black.
 then red, then scuffed it.

Then I waxed it. I think it came out pretty good. Now all I have to do is put some wooden knobs on it.

This little table my husband and I found. It's oak.
I did some more of my magic and painted it black,

then green.

I scuffed and waxed it.

I feel in love with this coffee table. I really wish I had the room to keep it in my living room.

It does have a draw. I forgot to put it in before taking the picture.
So that's a little of what I have been up to.
